More Than Words - Extreme

This production is by far the hardest one I have ever done. Come out and support the fruits of our labor. I love love love Theatre that hardly gets produced and this show is such a hidden gem. This cast is so tight and HiLaRiOuS, every rehearsal has truly been simply just registering new experiences, revelations and finding new layers to make this show…well…funny ! The visual gags are endless. The first photo is where we prophesized the casting at @rj_simpforit 21st :)

I can’t believe that this is the only photo that is remotely connected to KCACTF! Btw this is a lil late but that’s Otay! I spent a week in Mesa Arizona with all these talented people competing for the prestigious Irene Ryan Scholarship. I didn’t make it past preliminary, but HEY it was still an honor to be nominated for my performance in Bellwether(also an excuse to take a picture in front of this dinosaur on the ride home) . It wasn’t a complete waste as it was still an outlet that provided other acting opportunities as well as watching the finalist that were nominated including Citrus Colleges own @_beans._._ and her scene partner @dosfro (congrats btw 🥴) everything about that week taught me so much about my craft and I’m beyond happy to have been apart of this festival.

This is certainly an odd choice for a Christmas song. I promise in the future maybe I’ll choose something more festive, but mom’s spaghetti was next on the list, and Its not totally practical to bring an electric guitar with me to Tulsa, OK. So I had to do this ASAP. Otherwise, I hope everyone has the happiest of holidays and a happy new year.

Nothing more, I just really like this photo. Ok I lied I guess there is a little more. Now that I’m transferring to ORU in a couple of weeks I’m feeling more nostalgic for last year when I started my first semester at Citrus College, which is around the same time this photo was taken. Despite my studious looking face, I was going through kinda of a rough time, and it’s nice to look where I was and compare that to now. I’m really happy where I am currently with friends, family, work, projects, etc. so I guess the whole point of this pointless ramble is I guess a thank you to those people who have helped me whether it was intentional or not who were there while I was in repair. I’m not together but I’m getting there. I didn’t mean for that to rhyme

Well this was a fun way to spend the Halloween season. Like I said in our final checkout before the cast went their separate ways, I went into to this production with the notion that it was going to be easy, and I quickly learned that it was not. Although I’ve been challenged before as an actor, no role has challenged me such as this one. That is due in part by this exuberant cast of artists and ofc our very intelligent directors @jmfrancescon and @gahren . I could go down the list on how everyone helped me grow in this process, but that would take forever and this post is getting pretty long already lmaoo. I’m incredibly thankful for every person involved in the creation of this production, I’m so happy that this was the show to close out the year, and I’m excited for what opportunities await me in this upcoming year. Cheers to a great show,
